4th year CSE students continue the project entitled ‘Why Music is so Important in Animation?’ in order to enhance the value of music in animated movies. The main objective of this activity is to analyse the lyrics and discover the moral that songwriters wanted to transmit, why the songs are performed in a specific moment in these movies, and so on. All the songs selected have been award winners and and have been chosen for their valuable messages.
In our 4th instalment, we will talk about the song Nobody Like U, which is a song by fictional boy band 4*Town, an it was written by O’Connell and singer Billie Eilish for Disney-Pixar’s 2022 film Turning Red. On November 18, the song was nominated for a Grammy Award for the Best Song Written For Visual Media.
Nobody like you is a love song that expresses the singer’s admiration and love for their significant other. The lyrics describe how the singer has never met anyone like their partner, and how they always want to be by their side. The song as a whole captures the excitement and joy of being in love
with someone.
