EmotionArt – Episode 8 Ivan, The Terrible by Iliá Répin

EmotionART is a project created to thrill the audience, move our feelings and touch our hearts. 3rd year CSE Biligual Section students invite us to know a little bit about these famous landmarks in the history of Art and to discover the emotions portrayed in the paintings. EmotionART is a tour all along the history timeline to enjoy how artists wanted to represent deep human feelings in their works. In their podcasts, we will learn about Klimt, Rossetti, Picasso, Murillo, Cabanel, Da Vinci, Munch, Michelangelo, Botticelli, among others. Emotions such as fear, serenity, bravery, love, maternity, anxiety, remorse, guilt, faith, beauty will be the key elements in our project.

In this episode, Jorge Ortiz Rueda performs the role of Iliá Répin’s Ivan, The Terrible, just on the brink of craziness after accidentally killing his son. Ivan represents REMORSE. Let’s know a little bit more about this painting.
