Did you know that tonnes of perfectly good food is thrown away every day in some countries? When some people don’t have enough food to eat, it seems crazy that so much food is wasted. What’s more, when food waste ends up in landfill, it decomposes anaerobically and releases methane emissions, a greenhouse gas that is 28 times more potent than carbon dioxide.
