The original working title for Pride and Prejudice was First Impressions. Jane Austen obviously felt  that the key to understanding the story was in looking at what impressions people make at first sight.
What are your our students’ first impressions of Mr. Bennet and Mrs. Bennet? On what do they base those impressions? Whose viewpoint does the opening sentence of the book seem to reflect for them? Here we are Ángel, Álex and Pablo expressing their opinion.
