Nature Day III

Hello, everyone!

Happy Nature Day! On December 20th, 2013, the UN General Assembly decided to proclaim March 3rd as World Conservation Day with the aim of raising awareness about the value of wild fauna and flora.

The chosen date marks the anniversary of the approval in 1973 of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES), which plays an important role in the protection of species against the International Trade.

We wanted to commemorate this day and, of course, discuss what this day means with our 2nd ESO students. In these programs they reflect on the role that nature has in our lives, on the impact of activities such as hunting or fishing. In addition to the things that we could do from a local point of view to protect the environment.
We hope you like our reflections as much as we do!
Thank you all and we look forward to seeing you in the next programs!
