MYTHOMAPS – THE WITCH OF WOOKEY HOLE, A LEGEND FROM ENGLAND

MYTHOMAPS is the name of a school task where students analyse world myths and legends. As part of the School Linguistic Project, the aims comprise the use of linguistic skills, in the oral and written mediums, as well a detailed study of the topics developed.

Wookey Hole Caves.

The cave is notable for the Witch of Wookey Hole, a roughly human shaped stalagmite that legend says is a witch turned to stone by a monk from Glastonbury. 

This is your chance to learn something new about the Witch of Wookey Hole, but be careful ‘cause nobody knows what could happen to you!
