MYTHOMAPS – ST GEORGE & THE DRAGON, A LEGEND FROM ENGLAND

MYTHOMAPS is the name of a school task where students analyse world myths and legends. As part of the School Linguistic Project, the aims comprise the use of linguistic skills, in the oral and written mediums, as well a detailed study of the topics developed.

The legend of Saint George and the Dragon tells of Saint George the knight taming and slaying a dragon that demanded human sacrifices. This was acceptable to the villagers until a well-loved princess was chosen as the next offering.

Listen to what the students have to say.

Saint George and the Dragon told by Unai Romero Redondo and Luis Martín Cuadrado.
