Last academic year 2020-2021, the I.E.S. Luis de Morales of Arroyo de la Luz (Cáceres) began its participation in the Erasmus + K229 School Cooperation Program «LEARN YOUR CULTURE». The project, of a multidisciplinary nature and with the participation of several departments of the school, has as main objectives to improve communication between different European countries through the development of collaborative activities. The aim is to make students aware of European diversity while learning from their classmates and exchanging ideas with children of the same age (12-14 years old) from other countries.
This year, the first trip to one of the participating countries, Hungary, has been inaugurated, centered in the Koneli school (Budapest). Four students of 3rdESO, along with the project coordinator, Yolanda Clemente and Geography and History teacher Carlos Lopez have attended this international exchange.
Below, we offer an interview with the teacher Carlos López by members of the English department, Juan Pedro Magdaleno and Mª José Fraile, where he tells us his impressions and some of the experiences lived during this first international meeting.
El pasado curso, 2020-2021, el I.E.S. Luis de Morales de Arroyo de la Luz (Cáceres) inició su participación en el programa Erasmus + K229 de Cooperación Escolar “LEARN YOUR CULTURE”. El proyecto, de carácter multidisciplinar y que cuenta con la participación de varios departamentos del centro, tiene como principales objetivos mejorar la comunicación entre los distintos países europeos mediante el desarrollo de actividades colaborativas. Se pretende que los alumnos sean conscientes de la diversidad europea a la vez que aprendan de sus compañeros e intercambien ideas con chicos de sus mismas edades (12-14 años) de otros países.
Este año, se ha inaugurado el primer viaje a uno de los países participantes, Hungría, centralizado en el colegio de Koneli (Budapest). En dicho intercambio han participado alumnas de 3ºESO , junto con la coordinadora del proyecto, Yolanda Clemente y el profesor de Geografía e Historia Carlos López.
A continuación, ofrecemos una entrevista realizada al profesor Carlos López por miembros del dpto. de inglés, Juan Pedro Magdaleno y Mª José Fraile Flores, donde nos cuenta sus impresiones y algunas de las experiencias vividas durante este primer encuentro internacional.
